Once the COVID release was cancelled, the obligation to return to attending Mass in-person on Sundays and Holy Days resumed.
All who are healthy and who do not regularly come in contact with those who have serious underlying medical conditions were encouraged to return and again take part in Mass in-person as of a diocesan notice of May 20th, 2022.
Any updates or changes shall continue to be posted on this website's Home page and on our Facebook site.
As a precaution - the Precious Blood is not currently being offered.

WINTER or severe WEATHER POLICY
As per our policy, if the Sandyston-Walpack or Montague schools are in session and announce a snow/ ice-related delay or closure.
our 9am Daily Mass is cancelled.
We cannot assure driveway access will be plowed / salted and walkways cleared.
Only caveat is, if snow is not expected to start til late morning.
When school is not is session - and on weekends,
we will do our best to post any changes.

HERE WE GO YET AGAIN !
Several parishioners have once again been contacted ("supposedly" by Fr. or Mrs. Flexer) by email. This time, one message was requesting help to purchase an Amazon gift card & then email it to a "daughter of his friend".

It may have been initiated with this email :

"Subject: Checking In!
How are you doing?
I'm just checking in with you and I hope all is well with you? I can't call for now, that's the reason why I emailed you. Actually, I need a favor from you. I'd appreciate if you could email me back when you get this ASAP."

Such emails are scams. It seems the parish AOL email account may have been hacked into and Father's address hijacked. In both instances, the return address "looked" similar, but the reply went to a hotmail account. That should serve as a red flag!

Father had previously related after a separate text msg incident:
  " Please know, yet again, that I would never text anyone about such matters.   "
PLEASE do not respond via a direct reply to any such texts or emails.
Call the parish to verify first or compose a separate direct email to the legit email address to ask if that unusual communication is valid. Should the culprits be discovered, Father will insist authorities deal with the individual and stop this nonsense.
These incidents had been reported and investigated by law enforcement!

REMINDER
Do NOT reply to the any email ot cell phone text supposedly sent by the pastor or any staff member. There have been SCAM texts/email that were "supposedly" sent by either Fr. Wayne or Mrs. Flexer and occurred at different times.
Only a few spotted that the "Reply To:" addresses were not directed back to their correct email address but to a totally unrelated account being used by a scammer.

Law enforcement was given the info - and warns that such are part of active phishing emails that show crooks continue to try to access personal info or to get someone to send them gift cards, etc. via email.
Before you might respond to anything unusual - contact the parish first.
